Privacy notice

Askello is the guide software your host uses. If you ask a question here, we store the question, the answer, and a temporary anonymous label for your browser so your host can reply to you. We do not ask for your name, your phone number or your email address, and we do not collect them. Your question is sent to an AI assistant, which answers it from the guide your host wrote; your host may read it too. We keep the conversation for 90 days and then delete it. It is not sold. It is shared with your host, with Askello, and with the AI provider that generates the answers. We also send Mixpanel, our analytics provider, a record of what you opened on the guide and that a question was asked, with that anonymous label if you have one, the kind of device and browser used, and an approximate location (city and country) that Mixpanel works out from your IP address and does not keep — never the question itself, never the answer, and never anything you typed. If you would like it deleted sooner, ask your host. Where your host has paid for it, the guide itself is shown to you in your language, translated by the same AI provider from what your host wrote. If you choose a language on the guide, we store that choice in a cookie on your own device for a year, so you do not have to choose again; it holds nothing but the language, and nothing is stored if you never choose one.
