Lantern House
The key box is to the right of the green door, the coffee is in the cupboard above the kettle, and the hot water takes a minute. Anything else, ask below — I wrote the answers down so you do not have to text me.

Ask the guide
In a published guide this box is live and a guest types their own question. Here it shows one answer already given.
“Is there somewhere to leave a bike?”
Yes — the courtyard through the green door has a rack on the left-hand wall. It is covered and it locks from the inside; the courtyard key is the small brass one on the ring.

Arrival and keys
The key box is on the wall to the right of the green door, at shoulder height. The code is in the message I sent the morning you arrive. Inside are two keys: the long one is the street door, the small brass one is the courtyard. Please put both back in the box when you leave.
-
Wi-Fi and internet
The network is LanternHouse and the password is written on the underside of the router, on the shelf in the hallway. If it drops, unplug the white box for ten seconds and give it two minutes to come back.
-
Kitchen and appliances
The oven is the left-hand dial: turn it to the flame mark and hold it in for about three seconds, then set the temperature. The dishwasher tablets are under the sink. The coffee is in the cupboard above the kettle and it is yours — take what you need.
-
Heating and hot water
The radiators are on a timer from six to ten in the morning and four to eleven at night. The dial in the hallway raises the whole flat by a couple of degrees. Hot water takes about a minute to reach the shower.

House rules
No smoking anywhere inside, including at the windows. The building is old and the floors carry, so please keep it quiet after eleven. Shoes off in the hallway if you can — the neighbours below will thank you.

Around the neighbourhood
The bakery on the corner opens at six and the burek is gone by nine. The covered market is a five-minute walk downhill. For dinner, the small place with the blue awning two streets over does not take bookings but rarely fills before eight.

Checkout
Any time before eleven. Strip the beds if you have a minute, leave the dishes in the machine and start it, put both keys back in the box and spin the dial. That is all.
